TigerWood Decking

TigerWood Decking is one of the finest quality hardwoods available that features a unique light golden-brown coloring with exotic black and brown streaks. It is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot and decay, and is an extremely durable hardwood.

TigerWood is a beautiful exotic Brazilian species which provides one of the most spectacular decks you will ever see. It's original honey oak color quickly changes when exposed to sunlight to a dark reddish orange color with dark veins which give it a tiger-like appearance

TigerWood is a very heavy wood with high shock resistance and low retract ability and is very resistant to fungi and termite attack. A fine straight grain reduces the slight risk of distortion or checking making this hardwood ideally suited for swimming pool or hot tub surrounds.

Rhino Deck

For a virtually indestructible deck that lasts a lifetime, Rhino Deck hardwood is a beautiful choice. Its distinctive markings, smooth even texture and warm golden highlights create the richness of teak-without the maintenance.

Five times harder than pine, cedar and redwood, Rhino Deck naturally resists rotting, checking, cracking, splitting and decay. Its unique strength and durability eliminate the scarring and twisting that can occur with softer woods when exposed to everyday traffic and changing weather. In fact, the species was the material of choice for the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk when it was rebuilt in 1981.

The species is reported to be distributed widely from Columbia to Bolivia, the Guiana's, and southeastern Brazil. It is described as ecologically diverse, especially in the Brazilian Mata Atlantica. It is reported to occur mostly in more or less seasonal forests on well-drained lateritic soils in the amazons, but also grows on richer or sandy soils and even into the cerrado in sub-Amazonian Brazil. The tree is usually found near sea level up to an elevation of 3940 feet (1200 m).
